" Let us pray that his rest is eternal, and that he never returns." As the pallbearers lift the coffin, something scrapes on the wood from inside. Quickly and without emotion, the attendants slide the casket into a crypt. Then they seal the door and flee. Behind them, unheard, a dull thudding begins, growing louder with the onset of twilight. CATAN National Championship
Will you be the dominant force on the island of Catan? Come out and build, explore, and settle Catan by collecting and trading resources the island produces. Be the first to build up your civilization to get to 10 victory points and win the game.

The tournament starts on Saturday, July 16th, so you would need a Breakout pass to cover at least the Saturday. The Semi-final and Final rounds are on Sunday, July 17th and only those who qualified from the previous day and any who had been notified as pre-qualifying from prior tournaments would be eligible. Registration for this tournament is not done here, but at the Catan Studio site here.

This year’s winner will go on to represent Canada at the World Championship in Malta! The trip is covered by Catan Studio.
